Michael's Monthly Message - July 2007

Dear Family, Friends and Supporters:

Welcome to my monthly message for July 2007!

I thought it would be a nice idea to share some of my thoughts in a brief newsletter about my life each month with all of you who might be interested,

Last month on June 15th, the final stage of my probate battle with my ex-wife was resolved. Overall, I can't complain because the judge ordered that it was ok for me to correspond with my children.

In addition, the court will be checking to make sure the children are actually receiving my letters and presents. It's sad that my relationship with my children has diminished to the point it has. I hope some day they will hear the truth and know how much I love them. Until that day arrives I will keep them close to my heart and in my prayers.

Hopefully sooner then later , I will be transferred to Old Colony Correctional Center (OCCC) which is a level 4 prison. Supposedly it will be better then the level 6 prison I am in now. I will keep you posted.

I continue to do my workout routine, and I am currently running 9 miles a week. I've been blessed my whole life with great health so I am a little spoiled but grateful.

I just finished reading (for the second time) book five and six of the Harry Potter series. Yeah I know, I'm hooked too, ever since I started reading them to my daughters. Believe me, I need the escapism, and I love the battle of good against evil. I can't wait until book seven is released on the 21st of July, but I have a feeling fans are going to be sad because I think Harry is going to die. Of course, J.K. Rowling could let Harry survive; so it will be interesting to see. Also, I'm trying to finish all the other books everyone has sent me before I leave for OCCC. So please wait before sending any more. Thanks!

The New England Innocence Project (NEIP) is still working trying to obtain evidence in my case so it can be DNA tested. I am still waiting for a response from the Massachusetts. Attorney General's Office concerning my federal habeas.

My movie recommendation for the month is "Phenomenon" with John Travolita and Kyra Sedgwick. This movies is one of my top three favorites because it contains every necessary characteristic needed for a great movie. It has alienation, fear, grief, forgiveness, trust, compassion, friendship, peace, and most of all a true understanding of love. If you have not seen this movie I highly recommend it.

For my profound my movie quote of the month I chose: "Happiness can be found in the darkest of places if one only remembers to turn on the light."    (Harry Potter Prisoner of Azkaban)

Until next month---take care of yourselves and remember: The answers to the mysteries of life hide in the pain of our most difficult experiences.

Love and light to all,
Michael
