Hi Everyone,
It is had to believe that Christmas is nearly here once again; where does time go. I've been back in Arizona seven weeks already and it feels like I just got here.
Christmas can be a time filled with fun, laughter, love and joy; a time to be with family, friends and loved ones. Sadly for many people the holiday season can be one of great sadness. This can be particularly true for those people in prison and especially tough for those in prison that are wrongfully convicted and don't belong there. Last year when I wrote the Christmas message for Michael I was quite hopeful it would be the last Christmas Michael would be spending in prison. Sadly the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts had other ideas. However, I'm hopeful that in time the truth will prevail and Michael will be set free so he can spend Christmas with his loved ones. In the mean time there are things we can do to help Michael feel some happiness. Michael is always so pleased when he receives cards, letters and gifts from members of this support group. He is very grateful and thankful for all your prayers and support, and wants all of you to know how blessed he feels by your acts of kindness.

There are things progressing in Michael's case (decision from his second re-sentencing hearing, federal appeal, DNA testing, and a potential news article regarding Michael's case). I will be in touch after the first of the year with more information on these items and anything else that may come up regarding Michael and his case.
