Contributions Update

Hi Everyone,

I just want to give you a brief update on the contributions received to date for Michael's defense fund. To date I have received $1,200.00 from three donors. I thank each of these three for their generous donations. The results to date have been slower then expected and hoped for. I have received notice from a few people that they plan on donating shortly; I hope more of you will consider donating to this worthy cause. As soon as I receive donations for $5,000.00 I will send a check to the Private Investigator who is ready to begin the initial phase of his investigation ASAP. If you can't send money at this time I would encourage you to send a pledge to support Michael's defense fund.

I have received inquiries as to who Advocates for Wrongfully Convicted is. Advocates for Wrongfully Convicted is an organization I created to help the wrongfully convicted and specifically to raise money for Michael's defense fund. I did not want to have checks sent to me personally so I created an organization with a federal tax-id and a separate checking account to receive contributions and disperse monies for activities in support of Michael's defense.
