Hi Everyone,
I hope all of you had a Happy New Year and are settled into 2004. I'm hopeful 2004 will be a pivotal year for Michael.
I just talked with Michael's lawyer who informed me he just received Michael's trial transcripts. This is very good news. This is something Michael has been waiting for many months. Michael will learn about this good news tomorrow (Thursday) morning when he talks with his Mother. I will be talking with Michael tomorrow (Thursday) evening and if there is anything any of you wish me to convey to him please send me an email at dickleb@aol.com I'll be happy to convey your messages to him. I will be receiving a copy of the transcripts in the next week or so. We will be sending a copy of the transcripts to the New England Innocence Project. There is much work to be done. Michael's lawyer will be pouring over these transcripts in preparation to write the brief he will present to the Massachusetts Appellate Court. Let's all say a prayer for him.
The process to free Michael is still a ways off, but at least now we are at the starting point. All your letters, cards, Guest Book entries, prayers and support have been extremely helpful in keeping Michael's spirits high. I thank each and every one of you and ask for your continued prayers and support.
The truth will prevail.
